I really like this image and story. It takes a boy playing an innocent game with his mother and taking it to a level that represents danger and confusion. Some people ask why I don't draw my subjects with more smiles. It's because I'm always trying to get "that look" ... a stare of concern, excitement, fear and confusion. I guess I'm just trying to recapture a moment from my past.

Can you imagine having that conversation with someone who controls your life? Scary stuff!
