Description
This is from "The Mystery on the Beach," one of my old Petticoat Detective mysteries. 
In case you missed it, this is from a series of children's adventure stories in the style of Nancy Drew or The Famous Five, all revolving around a child, Tony, confronting adversity and triumphing ... all while trapped in the guise of a girl.
Here Tony -- disguised as "Antonia" -- is working with the police to solve the big mystery. I really enjoyed writing and drawing that scene. I'd love to see it made into a video or movie.

Just realized the publishing date: ten years after to the day...and hey, there was a band in the 60s/70s named Ten Years After...woooooo ooooooooo [spooky sounds] lol
